ZURICH SWITZERLAND - June 1, 1997 five valuable paintings were stolen from an art gallery.  As of November 6, 2001 four of  the five pictures have been recovered.

1. Chagall, Russian,1887-1985; Bouc musicien (1982)
2. Jawlensky, Recovered German, 1864-1941;  Still life
3. Matisse,Recovered, French, 1869-1954; L'olivier (1898)
4. Renoir, Recovered French, 1841-1919; Still life -Tomatoes
5. Valtat, Recovered French, 1869-1959; Bouquet of Flowers, Anemones
